Scroll Compressors

Scroll Compressors at very competitive prices often with a next day delivery option. ACES stock a large range of Maneurop, Danfoss Performa and Copeland Scroll Compressors

A scroll compressor is a specially designed compressor that works in a circular motion, as opposed to up-and-down piston action.

A scroll compressor uses two interweaving scrolls to pump, compress or pressurize fluids such as liquids and gases. Often, one of the scrolls is fixed, while the other orbits eccentrically without rotating, thereby trapping, and pumping or compressing pockets of fluid between the scrolls. On the outer portion of the scroll the pocket draws in refrigerant gas, then moves it to centre of the scroll where it is discharged. As the refrigerant gas moves through the increasingly smaller inner scroll the temperature and pressure increase to the desired discharge pressure.

This design achieves 100% volumetric efficiency which provides reduced energy costs in many applications. Re-expansion losses, which typically occur with each piston stroke and at the suction valve reeds in reciprocating models are eliminated.

A smooth operation results in quieter operation with less vibration.

ACES also supply remanufactured compressors (not scroll) and can have a replacement compressor delivered and installed within days.

Supported Manufacturers include:

Arctic Circle, Bitzer, Carrier, Comer, Copeland, Daikin, Danfoss, Dorin, Dunham Bush, Frascold, FuSheng, Gram, Grasso, Hall, Hanbell, Hitachi, Hubbard, Howden, Maneurop, McQuay, Prestcold, Refcomp, Sabroe, Trane, Turbocor, York and many more.

Why Remanufactured Compressors?

Remanufactured Compressors (often referred to as rebuilt compressors, remanned compressors, refurbished compressors, overhauled compressors) can offer the same (or even better) performance, reliability, and durability as a newly manufactured Compressor. The failure rate of new parts is reduced when using a Remanufactured Compressor because those parts prone to failure are replaced with durable components as part of the Remanufacturing Process. A Remanufactured Compressor is more reliable and may have a longer commercial life than a newly designed Compressor. The resulting Compressor has already been burned-in and field proven.

Supported Manufacturers include:

Arctic Circle, Bitzer, Carrier, Comef, Copeland, Daikin, Danfoss, Dorin, Dunham Bush, Frascold, FuSheng, Gram, Grasso, Hall, Hanbell, Hitachi, Hubbard, Howden, Maneurop, McQuay, Prestcold, Refcomp, Sabroe, Trane, Turbocor, York and many more.
